This prompt is one of my favourites. Fey book are my ultimate love. I can read a fey book anytime, anywhere. Enough of talk, let’s get down to the list, shall we…
Hey you guys, this week I felt like re-living the tale as old as time. Here’s my favorite Beauty and the Beast retellings.
Hello, I’ve been on a break and thought why not start this new month with colours. Here are all the books that I’ve read or wish to read with colours in the title!
It’s been ages since I’ve read the original Cinderella story. It’s a whole new generation and we have amazing new stories in the form of Cinderella retellings. Not necessarily, the same scenario as I’ve read a few books that have a nice post-apocalyptic plot. This is one story that I can never forget as I’ve grown up with it and I’m excited to read new retellings too. Here’s the list of my favourite stories.
Numbers speak for themselves
I like books with numbers in the name. Gives me a sense of satisfaction as to what number will we be seeing in the story. Here’s a list of my favorites.
It’s not always easy to read a novel or a book that has 500-600 pages. Sometimes, all you need is a cup of coffee and a book that’s less than 200 pages to sit and read in one go. Here’s my list of books that I would love to read that do not have a great number of pages to go.
It’s rainy weather where I am currently at and I cannot explain how pretty the atmosphere and the mood are. That’s not all, the trees are greener and the flowers are more colourful. The rain just washes down all the negativity and the dust settles. In lieu of the weather and the colourful blooms, here are books with florals on the cover.
This prompt is solely dedicated to the happiness of returning home. Nothing feels better than home after a long period of quarantine procedures. Here’s a list of books with ‘home’ in their title that I would like to read.
“When you can’t find the sunshine, be the sunshine”
This week we experienced the annual solar eclipse and on the very same day we celebrated the longest day of the year, the summer solstice. In lieu with the week, I wanted to share all the books with ‘sun’ in the title.
I have been fascinated by mermaids since I was a child. The torso of a human and the bottom of a fish, I’m sure can fascinate any child. With the current trend of mermaid’s nails, makeup, cakes, and more; I thought why not try some mermaid books.
These books are not necessarily a re-telling of ‘The Little Mermaid’, that will be a different tag altogether. I have selected some books where mermaids are seen as saviours of the realm and also as flesh eating monsters. Which ones do you prefer?
